Essential Maintenance for Your Egg Layer Brick Making Machine

Keeping your brick-making machine in top condition is key to ensuring smooth operation, longer lifespan, and high-quality bricks. Regular maintenance helps prevent costly breakdowns and guarantees that your machine runs efficiently.
1. Daily Maintenance: Greasing the Shaft
- The shaft that moves the mold up and down must be properly greased every day to reduce friction and wear.
- If there is insufficient grease, apply more immediately. A dry shaft can cause serious damage to the machine over time.
- Use a high-quality grease to ensure smooth movement and prevent rust.
2. Monthly Maintenance: Removing and Reapplying Grease
- Old grease can collect dust and dirt, which may cause unnecessary wear and tear.
- Once a month, completely remove the old grease using engine cleaner, degreaser, or any suitable grease remover.
- After cleaning, apply fresh grease to maintain the efficiency of the moving parts.
3. Cleaning the Mold and Stumper: Ensuring Perfect Bricks
- The mold and stumper must be cleaned daily with water to prevent cement buildup.
- Why is this important?
- Cement residue can harden over time, affecting the shape and quality of your bricks.
- A dirty mold can lead to rough or uneven bricks instead of smooth, high-quality ones.
- Cleaning ensures your bricks remain as perfect as when you first bought the machine.
- Use a scrubbing brush or high-pressure water to remove any stuck cement.
4. Keep the Machine Covered When Not in Use
- If the machine is stored outdoors, protect it from rain and dust with a cover.
- Moisture can cause rust, which leads to performance issues over time.
